Knowledge For Your Expertise
Terex Cranes offers a complete training package to your technicians and operators.
Before you register for face-to-face training, E-learning or "in company" training, please ensure that you are acquainted with our training policies.
Our training offers in-depth learning with practical activities, like no other in the market. Participants will receive documentation with information written clearly and understandably. We may provide practical experiences with simulators or actual equipment which will enhance the learning acquired in class.
Our Terex Training Centers are a great place to expand your technician’s or customer’s knowledge base of Terex cranes. Terex E-Learning is an important tool to build knowledge of your technical body. These courses will guide you through the hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and basic mechanical knowledge basis. To obtain more information about E-Learning click here.
The Terex Technical Training is also available at your company location. These courses may be equivalent to courses performed in our training centers or customized to meet your specific training needs.
Training Policies
Registration
Terex training is the complete training package for your Service technicians and Operators.
When registering for a Factory, E-learning, or Field course, be sure you are familiar with our training policies.
The factory courses offer in-depth instructional learning with hands on experience whenever possible. Your student will receive documentation and student course information that is clearly written and understandable. For more information about courses, please click on the tabs above labeled “Courses” and “Schedule”.
Terex E-Learning is a important building block for your technicians. These courses will guide them through the fundamentals of Hydraulics, Electrics, Pneumatics and Mechanical knowledge. For more information about E-Learning click here.
Terex training can also provide training at your location. These courses can be factory equivalent courses or customized for your particular needs. Customized field courses could require extended development time depending on the depth and length of the course.
Training Costs
The cost of the Terex University training courses is listed in the objective section of the course description.
Course registration must include the form of payment.
Student training cancellations must be within 14 days of course commencement in order to receive a full refund.
Cancellations 5 to 13 days before the beginning of the course will receive a 70% refund of the course cost. Cancellations on less that 5 days notice of course commencement will have that amount credited toward future training courses.
Terex reserves the right to cancel a training 14 working days prior to course commencement date in the event if the minimum number of participants is not met.
Terex University is not responsible for expenses incurred due to training cancellation such as air travel.
Notes
- The cost of the training classes are per person and include all materials and lunch daily.
- After course registration, the customer will be notified by email and their seat will be reserved for 5 working days. If payment is not made within 5 working days, the reservation will be cancelled.

- Terex retain all rights to cancel or change the dates of the course within the Terex University training catalog.
Responsibility of the client
For all training conducted at the Terex facility in Wilmington, NC the customer will be responsible for:
- All travel and transportation costs from their location to and from Wilmington, NC and daily transportation from the hotel to the training facility.
- Suitable clothing and any PPE required.
